Opportunity for children aged 13-15

Hi there,

My name is Mike Yerxa and I am the casting director on YTV's brand new
action/adventure series entitled Splatalot.

Splatalot is an outdoor, physical game show.  Envision a medieval
fortress! A sludge-filled moat and more face-planting, gut-busting,
splat-tacular spills than you could ever imagine!

We are currently looking 13-15 year old contestants of all shapes and
sizes. We will be filming this summer in the GTA.  We are looking for
competitors with fantastic personalities that are looking for an
exciting and fun summer experience.

We are contacting you to see if you would promote the casting process
of this project throughout your association.  If you have any
questions please feel free to email me or call 416.646.2711 ext. 219

Attached you will find a casting notice with all the details on how
one can apply to become a contestant on Splatalot.  If you could
forward this to any coaches or appropriate contacts you may have, it
would be much appreciated.

Splatalot is produced by marblemedia ([ http://www.marblemedia.com ]www.marblemedia.com), the
producers of This is Daniel Cook & The Adrenaline Project. In each
episode, contestants compete in obstacle course challenges until one
is crowned the king or queen of the castle.

Thank you so much for your assistance.

Sincerely,

Mike Yerxa
Casting Director

We would like to get together to discuss the 2010 Season, the executive, track maintenance, the food booth and any other ideas that anyone has regarding the club.  If possible it would be great to have as many people as possible come out and share thoughts and ideas on how we can make the 2010 Season one of our best seasons yet for the riders, parents and fans alike.

I look forward to seeing all of you on Thursday evening.

Thanks

Chris Huber

MATT TERRY

VICE-PRESIDENT SAUGEEN SHORES BMX

.

It is with great sadness that the Saugeen Shores BMX Club Executive has to inform you that, Matt Terry, our club Vice-President, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at the age of 54.  Some of you may not have known much about Matt and his contributions to the Saugeen Shores BMX, but Matt was one of the co-founders of this club with Claude Gareau.  He has been part of the executive since that time and has always been a great supporter of Saugeen Shores BMX, traveling to O-Cups in Chatham and Milton to cheer on our riders and provide support during mechanical problems.

Matt was always willing to help anyone out and has been a great asset on the executive over the years. He always rose to the occasion at provincial time getting the track in tip top shape. He will always be remembered for his painting of SAUGEEN SHORES BMX on our start hill before the provincial finals in 2008.

We would like to extend our condolences to his wife Terry and family during this difficult time, he will be greatly missed and will always be remembered at our club.

We will be sending flowers on behalf of the club, and on the suggestion of Vicki Parent, we will be doing a dedication in the spring and placing a plaque on the start tower in his memory, at the first gate drop of the 2010 season.

A funeral service will be conducted in the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin, on Monday, October 26th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Margaret Greenhow officiating. A reception to celebrate Matt’s life will follow in the funeral home reception suite.

Memorial contributions to the Saugeen Shores BMX Track or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
